Aakash Hire

Akash Hire, born on May 20, 2002, hails from Sakri Road, Dhule, Maharashtra, and currently resides in Maheshwari Nagar, Dhule. His father, Raju Hire, is involved in furniture making, while his mother, Surekha Hire, manages their home. Akash has a younger brother named Sohil. Despite not having siblings who play kabaddi, Akash discovered his passion for the sport at the age of 18 and quickly excelled as a Right Raider. Working in a setup that assembles kitchen trolleys, Akash dedicates his spare time to hone his kabaddi skills under the guidance of coach Jitendra Thakare at Jai Hind Krida Mandal Ground. He admires Mahendra Rajput from the Gujarat Titans for his exceptional corner kicks and overall prowess. Akash's favorite kabaddi move is the Toe Touch, showcasing his agility and precision on the mat. Having participated in the KMP Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023, Akash's career highlights include his standout performance in the Inter-College tournament in Dhule, 2019, where his decisive plays turned the tide in his team's favor. Eager to compete in more senior games, Akash aspires to represent Maharashtra and eventually make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League.
