Currently residing in Renapur, Latur District, Ajinkya is the son of Anant Katle, a hardworking farmer, and Asha Katle, a dedicated homemaker. He has a younger brother named Amit, who also shares his passion for kabaddi. Ajinkya's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 12 when he discovered his love for the sport. Inspired by watching the legendary Pardeep Narwal showcase his skills in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Ajinkya was drawn to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of kabaddi. His versatility as an all-rounder allows him to excel both as a Left Corner Defender and a Right Raider on the kabaddi mat. Under the informal guidance of his friends, particularly Pradeep Akangire, Ajinkya has been honing his kabaddi skills at Shriram Mahavidyala in Renapur. He admires Pawan Sehrawat for his exceptional raiding abilities, earning him the moniker of "Raid Machine." Ajinkya has already made his mark in kabaddi, representing his district in the Sub-Junior State championship held in Thane in 2023. Additionally, he participated in the KMP YKS tournament in 2023, showcasing his talent and determination on the field. Beyond kabaddi, Ajinkya also has a keen interest in athletics and has competed at the state level. He won the Gold Medal at the State School Games in Washim in 2019, demonstrating his athleticism and competitive spirit. As he continues his education, Ajinkya's aspirations in kabaddi include playing in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League. However, if that path doesn't materialize, he aims to secure a job in the Maharashtra Public Service, leveraging his dedication and skills to contribute to society. With his passion, talent, and determination, Ajinkya is poised to achieve great success in both sports and his professional endeavors.
