Laxman Ram Kadam, born on June 5, 2002, in Ahmedpur, Maharashtra, remains deeply rooted in his hometown, where he currently resides. His father, Ram Kadam, works diligently as a farmer, while his mother, Rashikabai Ram Kadam, ensures the warmth of their home as a homemaker. Growing up alongside two elder sisters, Nagin Ram Kadam and Rukmini Ram Kadam, as well as an elder brother named Bharat Ram Kadam, Laxman found inspiration in his family's support and camaraderie. Although none of his siblings shares his passion for kabaddi, Laxman discovered his love for the sport during his college years, starting his journey at the age of 17. As an all-rounder, Laxman excels in various positions, including right corner defense and left-right raider roles. Under the mentorship of coach Sharad Mane at the Mahatma Gandhi Mahaa Vidhylay College Ground, Laxman hones his skills, with a particular focus on the chain and thigh hold techniques. He draws motivation from the legendary Anup Kumar, admiring his exceptional raiding abilities. Outside of kabaddi, Laxman finds joy in playing cricket, his favorite sport besides kabaddi. Pursuing his college graduation degree in the arts stream, Laxman has already left his mark in district-level competitions, earning recognition as the Best All-Rounder in a district match. With representations at both the junior and senior district levels in 2021 and 2023 respectively, Laxman sets his sights on greater heights, aspiring to showcase his talent on the grand stage of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). His dedication, coupled with his natural talent and unwavering determination, fuels his ambition to leave a lasting legacy in the world of kabaddi.
