Kuldeep Santosh Sonawane, born on August 6, 2002, hails from Nashik, Maharashtra. Currently residing in Vijaynagar Sidko, Nashik, Kuldeep comes from a family where his father, Santosh Sonawane, works as a driver, while his mother, Vijaya Santosh Sonawane, takes care of their home. He has a younger brother named Vaibhav, who does not play kabaddi. Kuldeep discovered his passion for kabaddi during his school days and began playing at the age of 14. He excels as an all-rounder, specializing in both the right raider and right corner positions. Known for his exceptional hand touch technique, Kuldeep draws inspiration from his favorite player, Pankaj Mohite. Under the guidance of his coach, Mahindra Wankhede, he hones his skills at the Swastik Krida Mandal. Aside from kabaddi, Kuldeep enjoys playing cricket and actively participates in other sports. Despite pursuing a College Graduation degree in TY BSC, his ultimate aspiration is to play in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and leave a mark in the world of professional kabaddi. One of his career highlights includes a crucial raid in a local match, where he secured two points, turning the game in his team's favor and clinching victory.
