Vikrant Sanjay Gaikwad, born on April 30, 2001, in Hiwali, Nanded, Maharashtra, is a rising talent representing the Nanded District team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Hailing from a farming background, Vikrant's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 16, inspired by the spirited performances of his seniors in Junior College. Specializing as a Right Cover Defender, Vikrant demonstrates exceptional skills in executing backholds, contributing significantly to his team's defensive strategy. Under the mentorship of coach Safdar at the SM Patel Foundation in Nanded, Vikrant hones his abilities, drawing inspiration from kabaddi stalwart Shubham Shinde and his remarkable ankle hold skill.
