Sayyed Abu Suffiyan, born on February 19, 2004, in Deglur, Nanded, Maharashtra, exemplifies the spirit of determination and passion in the world of kabaddi. Despite starting his journey in the sport at the age of 16, he quickly emerged as a formidable Right Corner Defender, specializing in the art of the Double Thigh Hold. Under the mentorship of coach Ayub Pathan at the SM Patel Foundation Club in Nanded, Sayyed honed his skills, drawing inspiration from kabaddi stalwart Ravindar Pahal, renowned for his mastery of the double thigh hold, earning him the moniker "The Hawk." Coming from a family where his elder brother pursues engineering while his younger sister focuses on academics, Sayyed finds solace and motivation in kabaddi, a sport that fuels his aspirations and dreams. His notable achievements include representing Kumargad State, Parbani, in 2022 and clinching a commendable 4th place in the KMP YKS 2023 tournament, a testament to his perseverance and dedication.
