Yash Sudesh Nimbalkar, born on April 19, 2004, originates from Nallasopara city, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. His father, Sudesh Nimbalkar, serves in the Western Railway, while his mother, Swati Sudesh Nimbalkar, contributes to education as a school peon. Yash's elder sister holds a prominent role as a Senior Medical Coder in a Micro Bio Tech Firm. Although his siblings do not partake in kabaddi, Yash embarked on his journey in the sport at the age of 14, showcasing a natural inclination for the game. Positioned as a Left Corner Defender, Yash's prowess lies in securing Bonus Points, a skill he has refined under the guidance of coach Lata Bhagat at Ichha Shakti Krida Mandal. He draws inspiration from kabaddi star Naveen Kumar Goyat, admiring his raiding skills and confident demeanor. Yash's achievements include clinching the Bronze at the 2022 State Championship and participating in the Junior National tournament in 2024. Additionally, he is a proud graduate of Military school. Beyond kabaddi, Yash exhibits a keen interest in cricket and football, showcasing his versatility in sports. Currently in his third year of pursuing a degree in Human Psychology, Yash aspires to represent India in kabaddi, with his ultimate goal being to prepare himself for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination, aligning his passion for sports with a commitment to serving his nation.
