Jeet Patil

Jeet Roshan Patil, born on December 8, 2002, in Vasai Palghar, Maharashtra, epitomizes versatility as a kabaddi player for the Palghar team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Raised in a family where sportsmanship runs deep, with his father employed in the railway sector and his mother managing the household, Jeet discovered his passion for kabaddi at the tender age of 12. His innate talent and dedication have seen him excel as an All-Rounder, proficient in both defensive and offensive roles as a Left Corner Defender and Left Raider. Under the mentorship of coach Jagdish Tande at the Rishi Valmiki Sports Club in Vasai, Jeet has honed his skills, with the Ankle Hold being his signature move. His admiration for kabaddi stalwart Akash Shinde stems from the latter's remarkable Back Kick technique. Jeet's achievements include representing his state at the 48th Junior State Kabaddi Championship in Pune in 2022, a testament to his prowess on the kabaddi mat. Beyond kabaddi, Jeet finds joy in playing Kho-Kho and remains academically inclined, having pursued his education up to the 12th standard in Commerce.
