Yogesh Morase

Yogesh Maruti Morase, hailing from Gargoti Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and currently residing in Palghar, is a rising star in the realm of kabaddi. Born on September 9, 2004, Yogesh is the son of Maruti Morase and Yashodha Maruti Morase, who instilled in him values of discipline and hard work. With an elder brother, Sachin Maruti Morase, by his side, Yogesh embarked on his kabaddi journey at the tender age of 8, honing his skills as a Left Cover Defender. Under the guidance of coach Vishal Patil at Luvkush Boisar, Yogesh has developed a formidable game, showcasing exceptional prowess in the Back Hold and Dash maneuvers. Inspired by the renowned player Sanket Savant, Yogesh particularly admires Savant's swift and decisive dashes on the kabaddi court. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Yogesh maintains a passion for cricket, often engaging in the sport outside of his kabaddi commitments. Currently pursuing his first year of Bachelor of Science, Yogesh has represented his state in the Under 19 category in 2023 and 2024, marking significant milestones in his budding career. Looking forward, Yogesh aspires to serve his country as a police officer, embodying the spirit of dedication and service both on and off the kabaddi mat.
