Growing up in a supportive family, with an elder brother, Sivakumar, who played the sport, he was inspired to step into the world of kabaddi at the age of 14. His journey began at Cheran College in Karur, under the guidance of coach Muthukrishnan, where he honed his skills. His favorite position on the field is Right Raider, and he takes pride in his hand touch technique, which showcases his agility and strategic thinking. He admires Rakesh Kumar, appreciating the versatility and all-around capabilities that he brings to the game. Participating in events like the Khelo India and Junior Nationals has been pivotal for him, and he earned a bronze medal at Khelo India 2023 while representing SRM University. Despite facing challenges, like his father’s health issues and balancing studies in his first year of the Bachelor of Physical Education program, he remains dedicated to his dreams. With aspirations of wearing the Indian jersey one day, he continues to train hard, committed to making his mark in kabaddi while nurturing his love for sports, including volleyball. His journey is just beginning, and there's much more to look forward to as he strives for excellence.
