Karan Kumar hails from the stunning landscapes of Jammu and Kashmir, where he was born on September 29, 2003. With a loving family nestled around him, including his father Rattan Lal, who works for the Central Reserve Police Force, and his mother Kamala Devi, a devoted homemaker, Karan's early life was filled with warmth. He shares a close bond with his elder sister, Sapna Devi, and his younger brother, Arjun Kumar, the latter also sharing Karan's passion for kabaddi, making it a delightful family affair. At the young age of 15, Karan discovered his love for kabaddi after watching vibrant local tournaments in his village. He’s diligently honing his craft under the watchful eyes of his coaches, Ajay Sharma and his cousin, Lucky Sharma, at the M A Stadium in Jammu. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and in his third year of studies, Karan is laser-focused on achieving his dream of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League.
