Sarathiamarnath Subramaniyan

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing Vels University is Sarathi Amarnath S, born on February 9, 2000, in Pallakarai, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Currently residing in Pallavaram, Chennai, Sarathi's father, Subramaniyam R, works as a farmer, while his mother, Kannaki S, manages their household responsibilities. He has two brothers, Praveen Kumar (elder) and Senthamilan (younger), with the latter being a Kabaddi player for the university. Sarathi's journey in Kabaddi commenced in the 7th grade, inspired by the enthusiasm of his village folks for the sport. Excelling as a Right Raider, his standout skill lies in his powerful kicks. Under the guidance of coaches Dharmaraj, Arivalagan (NIS Coach), and Puviyarasu (NIS Coach), Sarathi hones his craft at Vels University. With representations in various tournaments including Junior and Senior State competitions, Khelo India Youth Games, South Zone Inter University, and Khelo India University games, Sarathi's notable career highlight remains his selection for the Khelo India Youth Games in 2019. Beyond Kabaddi, Sarathi enjoys playing volleyball and cricket. Pursuing his Masters in Business Administration, he harbors aspirations of securing employment through Kabaddi. With a remarkable track record and a dedication to his sport, Sarathi is poised to excel both on and off the Kabaddi mat, aiming to leverage his talents to build a successful career.
