Amandeep was born on November 6, 2005, in Jeend, Haryana. Growing up in a farming family, with his father Ranbir Singh tilling the land and his mother Darshan Devi managing the home, Amandeep learned the values of hard work and dedication early on. He has an elder brother, Deepak, who has always been supportive of his dreams, although he has no interest in kabaddi himself. At just 14, Amandeep discovered his passion for kabaddi and set out on a journey to make his family proud. He made the brave decision to move to Uttarakhand, where he could dedicate himself to training in this exhilarating sport. Under the guidance of coach Jitendra at the Uttarakhand Stadium, Amandeep has honed his skills as an all-rounder, excelling particularly as a Right Corner Defender and Right Cover Defender. His favorite move? The diving ankle hold, a skill he practices with fervor. Amandeep’s favorite player, Sandeep Narwal, inspires him with his aggressive playing style. With aspirations to represent India and play in the Pro Kabaddi League, Amandeep is determined to carve out a successful career in kabaddi. He’s committed to giving his all on the mat and making a mark in the world of sports.
