Vicky Kumar, born on December 30, 2004, in Bokaro, Jharkhand, has always had a spirited heart for kabaddi. Growing up in a close-knit family with two sisters, Priya and Preeti, Vicky found his passion for the sport at the young age of thirteen. Watching players in school, he was particularly inspired by Sagar Kumar, who not only caught his eye with exceptional skills but also exemplified strong leadership on the field. Now residing in Rhotak, Haryana, Vicky dedicated himself to honing his skills at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium under the personal guidance of his idol, Sagar Kumar. Known for his agility as a Left Raider, Vicky shines in skills like escape, hand touch, and jumping, with escape being his absolute favorite. Although he has not participated at national or international levels yet, he made a mark at the EMT YKS Winter Edition 2023 playing for the Sindh Sonics team. As he sets his sights on the future, Vicky dreams of becoming a professional kabaddi player. He admires not only the sport but also the leadership qualities fundamental to success, hoping to carry forward the legacy of the players he looks up to. With determination and hard work, Vicky is ready to make his mark on the kabaddi world.
