Arun Kumar

Arun, a spirited young athlete from Rohtak, Haryana, was born on December 24, 2005. He grew up in a loving family, with his father, Ashok Kumar, working in a private job, and his mother, Babita, managing the home. Arun shares a special bond with his sister, Pooja, who has always been his biggest cheerleader, supporting him in every step of his kabaddi journey. His fascination with kabaddi started at the tender age of 13, inspired by watching his seniors passionately play the sport. It didn't take long for Arun to find his calling as an all-rounder, especially shining as a Right Raider. His favorite move, the jump, reflects his agility and determination, qualities he admires in his idol, the incredible Rahul Choudhary. Currently, Arun is in his first year of studying for a Bachelor of Computer Applications while training hard at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium under the guidance of coach Dinesh Karb. His dedication has already earned him recognition as the Best Raider in local tournaments. Looking to the future, Arun aspires to secure a job with the Indian Railways and aims to continue enriching his family’s pride through his kabaddi accomplishments.
