Sahil was born on December 30, 2003, in the vibrant village of Kathura in Haryana. Growing up in a close-knit family, he was inspired by his father Jagbir, who works in a saloon, and his mother Sunita, a dedicated housewife. Sahil shares a bond with his older brother Rahul, who, despite not sharing his kabaddi passion, always supports him in his endeavors. At just 14, Sahil's journey in kabaddi took a thrilling turn when he watched Sandeep Narwal, a renowned player from his village, showcasing his impressive skills. Inspired, Sahil decided to become a left raider himself, focusing particularly on his bonus skill under the guidance of Sandeep at the Sandeep Narwal Academy in Banwasa. His determination paid off as he participated in significant tournaments, including a senior state championship in 2022 for Mewat and the K7 Kabaddi tournament for Kathura Stadium team. Recently, he celebrated a victory by winning a ranger cycle in a tournament in Himachal Pradesh. Sahil dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League one day. With a diploma in Wireman ITI and his love for running, he continues to work hard, aiming to follow in the footsteps of his favorite player. His journey is only just beginning, but his passion for kabaddi is what truly sets him apart.
