Amit’s kabaddi journey started when he was just nine years old in the small town of Sutana, Panipat, Haryana. Growing up in a farming family, his father, Surinder, worked diligently in the fields while his mother, Sameena, managed their bustling home. Amit’s household is filled with love and encouragement from his elder brother, Sumit, and his younger sister, Anjali, both of whom are his biggest supporters as he pursues his passion for the sport. Under the watchful eye of coach Parveen Tawar at the Kabaddi Centre in Sutana, Amit has developed into a skilled all-rounder, shining as a right raider and right cover defender. His best move? The swift running hand touch that keeps his opponents on their toes. Amit finds inspiration in Neeraj Tanwar, a senior player who has profoundly influenced his game. While balancing his love for kabaddi with his studies, Amit is currently in his first year of a Bachelor of Arts program. His commitment shines through in his participation in Junior State tournaments over the past three years, where he secured a commendable second place in an intercollege competition. Determined to make his dream a reality, Amit aspires to play in the Pro Kabaddi League, fueled by his passion and relentless hard work.
