Deepanshu Jangid was born on October 19, 2003, in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. He grew up in a supportive family; his father, Raju, runs a business, while his mother, Santosh Devi, takes care of the household. With two younger brothers, Gaurav and Himanshu, the spirit of competition runs strong in their family. Interestingly, it was Gaurav’s interest in kabaddi that sparked Deepanshu's own passion for the sport. He began his kabaddi journey at the age of 15 and instantly fell in love with the game. Training at Kanakpura Mahadeva Kabaddi Club under the guidance of coaches Jagdish and Rajiv Daka, he honed his skills as a Left Raider, where he particularly excels at bonus points and impressive jumps. Deepanshu admires Aslam Inamdar for his quickness and strength, striving to incorporate those attributes into his own game. While he’s still building his career—having represented junior state teams—Deepanshu has big dreams. His ultimate aspiration is to don the national jersey and represent India in kabaddi. Aside from kabaddi, he enjoys playing cricket as a recreational activity. With his determination and hard work, Deepanshu Jangid undoubtedly has a bright future ahead in the world of kabaddi.
