Meet Rajabose M, a spirited kabaddi player from the lively city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Born on June 20, 2002, his upbringing was filled with encouragement from his family. His father, Malaichamy, runs a business, while his mother, Shubha, dedicates her time to the Indian Railways. He also finds inspiration in his younger sister, Yuvashree, who motivates him in every aspect of life. Interestingly, Rajabose's journey into the world of kabaddi was quite by chance. Initially, he was more of a badminton enthusiast. However, at the age of 19, he decided to try kabaddi for fun, and to his surprise, he made the cut for a team! This unexpected turn of events ignited his passion for the sport, and under the guidance of coach Jayapal at the Pulithevan Sports Club, he has been honing his skills ever since. Playing as a Right Cover Defender, Rajabose’s favorite skill is the dash, a move he admires in his idol, Sunil Kumar. Despite his dreams of entering the Police department one day, his heart is fully committed to kabaddi. Fluent in both Tamil and English, he balances his sports ambitions with a love for badminton. Rajabose’s dedication and zeal are a testament to how passion and perseverance can lead to success in life.
