Meet Borugadda Ajay Kumar, a promising kabaddi player hailing from Ponnur, Andhra Pradesh. Born on December 28, 2002, Ajay grew up in a nurturing home with his father, Issac, who is a hardworking farmer, and his mother, Nagaveni, a talented beautician. As their only child, he developed a strong inspiration from the vibrant community around him. At the age of 14, he was captivated by the skills of senior players and embarked on his kabaddi journey. Ajay has a special flair for playing as a Left Raider. His standout skills like running hand touch and jump techniques have made him a remarkable player on the mat. He trains under the guidance of Coach Sreekanth at SKY Academy in Vijayawada, where he has participated in notable events, including the Junior Nationals in 2022. While kabaddi holds a special place in his life, Ajay also enjoys playing volleyball, showcasing his love for sports in general. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, he manages to juggle his academics with his training routine. With dreams of making it to the Pro Kabaddi League, Ajay draws inspiration from his favorite player, Aslam Inamdar, whose quick moves and exceptional techniques fuel his aspirations.
