Born on April 7, 2006, in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Tarun’s journey in kabaddi is a heartwarming tale of inspiration fueled by family and passion. Growing up in a nurturing home with his mother, Anita, and his two elder siblings, Ashu and Poonam, Tarun discovered his love for the sport at a young age. While his siblings didn’t pursue kabaddi professionally, it was Ashu’s exciting experiences in the Pro Kabaddi League with Gujarat that ignited Tarun’s passion for the game. At just 15, Tarun took the leap into kabaddi, enrolling at JD Academy in Greater Noida under the watchful eye of Coach Joginder Singh. As a Right Cover Defender, he honed his skills with a particular focus on the Thigh Hold and Chain Tackle, quickly becoming known for his dedication and competitive spirit. His ambition doesn’t stop there; Tarun aspires not only to shine in the Pro Kabaddi League but also dreams of securing a government job to support his endeavors. When he’s not on the mat, Tarun enjoys playing cricket, reflecting his versatile athletic abilities. Inspired by his idol, Sunil Malik, a player he admires for his leadership, Tarun is all set to carve out his own path in the kabaddi realm, showcasing determination that is truly inspiring.
