Sanjeev Bhati, born on December 12, 2003, in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Greater Noida, is a rising star in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a supportive household, with his father Ajit working as a security guard and his mother Seeta as a devoted homemaker, Sanjeev was always encouraged to pursue his dreams. He shares his life with his elder brother Pramod, who chose a different path, but their bond remains strong. At the age of 16, Sanjeev discovered his passion for kabaddi, inspired by the impressive performances of senior players in his neighborhood. He quickly found his niche as a Left Corner Defender and began rigorous training at the NM Kabaddi Academy in Tekhand, Delhi. Under the watchful eye of his coach, Nitin Mavi, he has sharpened his skills, particularly excelling in the Thigh Hold, which he proudly considers his signature move. Although Sanjeev is yet to compete in major tournaments, being selected for the Youth Khelo India Series is a significant highlight of his journey so far. With dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League, he draws inspiration from his favorite player, Sachin Tanwar, aiming to emulate his skills and make a mark in the sport. Sanjeev hopes to inspire others from humble beginnings, just like his own.
