Deepanshu Kasana

Born on March 26, 2006, in the vibrant city of Delhi, this young kabaddi enthusiast has a passion that extends far beyond his age. Growing up in Delhi NCR, he comes from a loving family led by his father, Navaratan Kasana, an accountant, and his supportive mother, Manju Devi, who takes care of the household. He has two elder sisters, Anuradha and Priyanka, who have shaped his journey in their own ways, encouraging him to pursue his ambitions. At the age of 14, he discovered his love for kabaddi, inspired by players from his village. His journey started modestly at NK Academy in Dekhand village, where he honed his skills as a Left Corner Defender. The ankle hold is his standout move, showcasing his dedication to mastering the game. His ultimate idol is Nitin Mavi, a player he admires not only for his skills but also for his mentorship as a coach with UP Yoddhas. Although he has participated in the Junior Nationals held in Delhi in 2024, his ambition doesn’t stop there. With dreams of making it to the Pro Kabaddi League, this young player is determined to carve a name for himself in the world of kabaddi, ready to go wherever his journey takes him next.
