Growing up in Delhi NCR, he comes from a loving family led by his father, Navaratan Kasana, an accountant, and his supportive mother, Manju Devi, who takes care of the household. He has two elder sisters, Anuradha and Priyanka, who have shaped his journey in their own ways, encouraging him to pursue his ambitions. At the age of 14, he discovered his love for kabaddi, inspired by players from his village. His journey started modestly at NK Academy in Dekhand village, where he honed his skills as a Left Corner Defender.
