Nishant Bhati, born on September 26, 2007, in the lively town of Ghadegaon in Delhi NCR, has embarked on an inspiring journey into the world of kabaddi. At just 13 years old, he was captivated by the sport, partly due to the influence of his father, uncle, and cousin who all played. With the unwavering support of his family, including his devoted mother, Santosh, and businessman father, Sripal Bhati, he embraced kabaddi with open arms. Training at the renowned NM Kabaddi Academy in Tekhand, Nishant has dedicated himself to perfecting his craft, under the guidance of his coach, Nitin Mavi. As a Right Corner Defender, he’s not just another player on the mat—his signature ankle hold makes him a standout competitor. He draws inspiration from greats like Nitin Rawal and Maninder Singh, whose impressive skills motivate him to improve every day. Just recently, Nishant achieved a significant milestone by winning the Junior State Gold Medal at the Jagatpur Junior Delhi State Championship, fulfilling his coach's dream. With aspirations of securing a job that lets him continue his sporting journey, he dreams of wearing the national colors and representing India someday. With passion and determination leading the way, Nishant's kabaddi story is truly just beginning.
