Born on September 29, 2009, in the lively town of Kaithal, Haryana, Lakshay is a young kabaddi player who is already earning recognition in the sport. He grew up in a supportive family where his father, Babri, works as a driver and his mother, Savita Devi, is a homemaker. With an elder brother named Naman, who has been a source of inspiration, Lakshay started his kabaddi journey at the tender age of twelve, drawn to the mat by a deep passion for the game. For the past three to four years, Lakshay has trained under the guidance of Coach Manoj Dalal at the Sports Centre Geong. As a Left Cover Defender, he has developed impressive skills, especially in ankle hold and chain tackle techniques, where he showcases his true abilities. Excitingly, he's set to represent Kaithal in the Under-19 State Nationals in 2024, a milestone that fuels his determination and ambition. Currently in the Eleventh Standard, Lakshay is a dedicated student, balancing his studies with his kabaddi training. He dreams of one day competing in the Asian Games, drawing motivation from his favorite player, Rakesh, who impresses him with his hand touch skills. With strong support from his family and coaches, there's no doubt that Lakshay's journey in kabaddi is just beginning.
