In the charming village of Kakoth, Kathi, Haryana, a young talent named Dinesh came into the world on April 17, 2007. Growing up in a loving family, with his father, Praveen, dedicated to farming and his mother, Sonia Rani, taking care of the home, he embraced the values of hard work and resilience from an early age. As an only child, these lessons became fundamental to his personal journey. Dinesh’s adventure into kabaddi kicked off when he was just 14 years old. Inspired by the electrifying matches of the Pro Kabaddi League and local tournaments, he found a passion that would shape his future. With the guidance of his coach, Manoj Dalal, Dinesh has been refining his skills on the Sportscentre Ground in Gong. Playing as a Right Raider, he takes great pride in his exceptional hand touch and loves to dazzle spectators with his impressive jump during matches. Motivated by the success of fellow villager Rakesh Sangroya, Dinesh recently celebrated a significant victory by winning a gold medal at the school nationals for Haryana in January 2024. As he sets his sights on the Pro Kabaddi League, this determined young athlete is sure to keep pushing himself, driven by his dreams and the pride of his hometown.
