Niket was born on December 1, 2008, in the vibrant town of Kaithal, Haryana. Growing up in a loving family, with his father Hakam Singh working hard as a farmer and his mother Urmila as a dedicated homemaker, he always felt the warmth of support around him. Inspired by his elder brother Samir, who, although not into kabaddi, encouraged Niket to chase his dreams. At just 12 years old, Niket's journey into the world of kabaddi began. His idol, Rakesh from Gujarat Giants, sparked a burning passion in him for the sport. Embracing the challenge, he took on the role of Left Corner Defender, training diligently under the watchful eye of his coach, Manoj Dalal, at the Sports Centre Ground in Geong. Niket has mastered skills like the ankle hold and the back hold, making him a formidable player on the field. His dedication has already led to significant achievements, including gold medals in both the Under 17 and Under 19 National Championships. With his eyes set on wearing the prestigious Team India jersey, Niket dreams big. When he’s not on the kabaddi field, he loves playing volleyball, showcasing his versatility as an athlete. With aspirations soaring high, Niket is just getting started on his kabaddi journey.
