Lovepreet Singh, hailing from the quaint village of Dedapa in Punjab, was born on May 20, 2000. Growing up in a loving family, he was inspired by his father, Gurmeet Singh, a dedicated farmer, and his mother, Swarnajeet Kaur, a supportive homemaker. With a younger brother, Navdeep Singh, who shares his passion for kabaddi, Lovepreet found himself immersed in the sport from a young age. At just 14, Lovepreet began his journey into kabaddi while in school. His natural abilities shone through as he took on the role of a Left Cover Defender, showcasing impressive skills, particularly his favorite move—the block. Under the guidance of his coach, Ransingh, Lovepreet trains diligently at the Shahid Banchan Singh Sports Club in Biba, where he continues to hone his craft. His journey in kabaddi has seen him participate at various levels, with notable achievements including performing a thigh five during the Senior Beach Kabaddi National Championship in 2024. As Lovepreet continues his studies in Bachelor of Arts, he dreams of one day playing in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League. With determination and a love for the sport, Lovepreet is truly a player to watch out for in the future.
