Harichand Singh

In the heart of Raipur, Taktgad, a young kabaddi enthusiast was born on January 21, 2007. Growing up in Punjab, this passionate teenager was inspired by watching local players, including his favorite, Ajay Thakur, who hails from a nearby village. As the son of Harbanz Singh, a farmer, and Kashmir Kaur, a dedicated housewife, he learned the value of hard work and dedication early on. At just 12 years old, he decided to give kabaddi a shot, finding his niche as a Right Corner Defender. Practicing at DAB Senior Secondary School, Takhtgad, he honed his skills, specializing in the Chain Tackle, which has become his signature move. Despite not having played at major national or international levels yet, his journey took a significant step forward when he played with the Murti Jabur team in Maharashtra, securing a first-place finish at a local tournament. With an educational background up to the 10th standard and support from his elder sister Manpreet Kaur, he dreams of making it big in the Pro Kabaddi League. While he enjoys volleyball and speaks both Hindi and Punjabi, kabaddi has captured his heart, propelling him toward a future filled with competition and potential accolades.
