Wilson Paul, born on August 4, 2005, in the serene town of Gumla, Jharkhand, is carving out his path as a promising kabaddi player. Growing up in Koderma due to his mother's job as a private school teacher, Wilson always had a keen interest in sports from childhood. He spent countless hours playing with friends, which ignited his passion for kabaddi. At the age of 14, Wilson made the pivotal decision to take his passion more seriously. Under the guidance of his coach, Sunil Saw, he honed his skills at the JJ College Ground, quickly developing into a talented Right Cover Defender. His favorite skills, the Chain Tackle and Double Thigh Hold, reflect his strategic approach to the game. Inspired by Pawan Sehrawat, he admires his speed and skill, pushing Wilson to reach new heights in his own game. Despite currently balancing his kabaddi journey with being an undergraduate student in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, his ambitions are clear. With state medals under his belt, he dreams of representing India in kabaddi. Wilson's dedication and talent suggest that with hard work, he is well on his way to achieving that dream.
