Born on June 20, 2003, in Hazaribaugh, Jharkhand, this spirited young player developed a strong love for kabaddi early on. Growing up in a nurturing household, with Mahendra Mato as a teacher and Poonam Kumari as a dedicated homemaker, he always had encouragement at home. As the younger brother to an elder sister, Rupali Bharti, he found inspiration in her support, even though she’s not into kabaddi. His journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 14 when he joined his school's renowned kabaddi team at St Columbus Ground, where he received guidance from his coach, Suraj Tiwari. His skills blossomed as he specialized as a Right Cover Defender, mastering the Chain Tackle—a skill he takes immense pride in. Watching stars like Pawan Sehrawat, whose all-round abilities and raiding prowess left a mark on him, fueled his ambition to follow in their footsteps. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geology, he has showcased his talents at the University Games in the East Zone for two consecutive years. Looking ahead, he dreams of making it big in the Pro Kabaddi League, aiming to prove himself on a larger stage while balancing his studies and passion for kabaddi.
