Born on December 7, 2004, in the vibrant city of Ranchi, Jharkhand, this young kabaddi enthusiast found his passion on the court rather than in the classroom. Growing up in a nurturing household, with his father Sunil Kumar, a physiotherapist, and his mother Sanju Devi, a devoted housewife, he always had the support to explore his interests. With a younger brother, Krishna Raj, by his side, their family is a close-knit unit focused on togetherness. Our player's journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 16, prompted by his curiosity and a friend's invitation to join school practices. Although he initially wasn't very inclined towards his studies, the thrill of kabaddi quickly captured his heart. Under the guidance of his coaches, Mohit Narwal and Aniket Mhatre at Midline Academy, he honed his skills, particularly excelling in the Hand Touch and Toe Touch techniques. He admires fellow player Naveen Kumar for his exceptional speed and footwork, which inspire him to improve every day. Having participated in the Junior State competitions, he stands on the cusp of fulfilling his dreams. His aspirations are clear: he aims to join the Pro Kabaddi League and ultimately represent India on the international stage. Whether on the kabaddi mat or playing football at school, he embraces every opportunity to grow, determined to carve his niche in the sports world.
