Born on September 11, 2001, in the vibrant town of Chikiti, Ganjam, Odisha, this young Kabaddi enthusiast has already begun carving his name in the world of sports. Growing up in a nurturing family with a homemaker father, Debraj Raula, and a supportive mother, Chabita Raula, who works as a clerk in the Electric Department of Odisha, he learned the value of hard work early on. He shares a close bond with his younger sister, Madhushmita, who is currently pursuing a diploma in electrical engineering, though she doesn't share his passion for Kabaddi. His journey into Kabaddi began at the age of 14, when a teacher recognized his potential and encouraged him to join the sport. That simple push led him to local tournaments, where he honed his skills. Training under Coach Jitender Roy, who taught him at a fire station ground, he learned not only the techniques of the game but also values of discipline and dedication. Even after Jitender's transfer, their connection remains strong through video calls, keeping the spirit of learning alive. With a keen interest in the back kick, inspired by his favorite player Arjun Deshwal, he currently plays for his college team. One of his proudest moments was participating in the East Zone University Games, marking a significant highlight in his young career. As he pursues his Bachelor's degree in Arts, he has aspirations of securing a government job through the sports quota, hoping to provide a bright future for himself and his family while staying true to his athletic dreams.
