Harbir Singh, born on December 16, 2006, in Uddham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, is a rising star in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a close-knit family, Harbir has always been inspired by the sport, expressing his passion for kabaddi from a young age. His father, Anand, is a hardworking farmer, while his mother, Manju, manages the household. He shares his life with an elder sister, Anadi, and a younger brother, Raman, who both encourage his aspirations on and off the mat. Harbir started his kabaddi journey at the age of 13 and quickly found his niche as a Left Corner Defender. With a special talent for executing ankle holds, he has honed his skills under the guidance of his coach, Rampal, at the Uttarakhand Stadium. His favorite player, Fazel Atrachali, has been a significant influence, motivating Harbir to mirror his playing style. Despite not yet having participated in national or international tournaments, Harbir dreams big. His aspirations are clear: he wants to wear the Indian jersey in the Asian Games someday. With ambition in his heart and kabaddi in his blood, Harbir is determined to make his mark in the sport and inspire others along the way.
