In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing the Sivagangai Warriors, we have Harish Kumar. Born on March 29, 2004, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Harish currently resides in the same city. His father, Nachiyappan, works as a carpenter, and his mother, Chitra, has passed away. He has two elder brothers, Prasanna Kumar and Bharath, and a twin sister named Kanimozhi. Bharath, one of his elder brothers, plays kabaddi at Chennai Sports. Harish began playing kabaddi at the age of 12, inspired by his father and brother who also played the sport. He plays as a Left Raider and his best skill is the Toe Touch. Bharath, his brother, serves as his coach, and he practices at the Sports Hostel SAI Chennai. His favorite kabaddi players are Aslam Inamdar and Naveen Kumar. He admires Aslam for his speed and amazing gameplay style. Harish has represented various teams in kabaddi tournaments, including the 49th Junior Nationals in 2023 and the 6th Federation Cup in 2022. He also participated in the South Zone Inter-University tournament for Madras University. Apart from kabaddi, Harish enjoys playing football. He is currently pursuing his second year of BA Economics and aims to play for Team India in the future.
