M. Arvinthapandian

Aravinthapandian M, a player for Sivagangai Warriors in the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, was born on July 27, 2002, in Sengappadai, Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. He currently resides in his hometown. His father, Murugan M, has passed away, and his mother, Erulayee M, is a housewife. Aravinthapandian has an elder brother named Vasantha Kumar and a younger sister named Mukila. His brother used to play kabaddi, which inspired Aravinthapandian to take up the sport. He started playing kabaddi in his childhood, influenced by the seniors in his village who played the game. His original playing position is as a right raider, and his best skill is the toe touch. He trains under coaches Lakshaman, Bhupati, and Sattakutty at the APR Academy. His favorite player is Naveen Kumar, whom he admires for his energy on the mat. Aravinthapandian has represented Alagappa University in the South Zone University tournament in 2022. His most memorable career highlight is a local match where he played for APR Academy against the home team, APR team. The match went to a golden raid, and Aravinthapandian led his team to victory. He completed his B.Com degree and is currently working as a Grade 2 constable in the police force. Despite his professional commitments, Aravinthapandian remains dedicated to kabaddi, with aspirations to reach greater heights in the sport.
