N. Praveen Raj

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing Team Sivagangai Warriors, we have N Praveen Raj. He was born on March 9, 2002, in Kallal, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides there. Praveen Raj's father, R Natchiyappan, serves as the Village President, while his mother, Poomani, is a homemaker. He has three elder brothers named Muthupandi, Ramkumar, and Lakshmanan, with Muthupandi being the one who plays kabaddi. Praveen Raj started playing kabaddi at the age of 10 because it's his favorite sport. He specializes as a Right Corner Defender, with his best skill being the Toe Touch. Interestingly, his brother Muthupandi is his coach and role model, teaching him the intricacies of the game. They practice at Apsa College. Although Praveen Raj's favorite skill is the Chain Tackle, his favorite player is his brother Muthupandi. He has represented his team in various competitions, including the 2023 South Zone Inter-University Games in Andhra Pradesh and the 2022 South Zone Inter-University Games in Bangalore. Apart from kabaddi, Praveen Raj also plays volleyball. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and aspires to become a Sub-Inspector and play in the Pro Kabaddi League. One of his career highlights includes being part of the Tamil Nadu team in a thrilling semi-finals game during a tournament in Maharashtra in 2021.
