Karuthapandi was born on December 15, 2003, in Savalaperi, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. His father, Ganapathi, earns a living through daily wages, while his mother, Shanmuga Thayi, sadly passed away. He has two sisters, Pechiamma, who is elder, and Sudha, who is younger, both of whom do not play Kabaddi. Karuthapandi embarked on his Kabaddi journey at the age of 15, discovering his talent as a Right Raider. He quickly established himself as a specialist in scoring bonus points, making crucial contributions to his team's success. Under the guidance of his coach, Velkumar, from Subramanian Sports Club in Savalaperi, he refined his skills at SD Xavier's College Ground in Tirunelveli and his hometown ground in Savalaperi. Inspired by players like Aslam Inamdar, Karuthapandi admires their ability to score bonus points effectively. His career highlights include overturning the result of a college match with a decisive raid in the final moments, securing victory for his team. Outside of Kabaddi, Karuthapandi enjoys playing cricket, although he considers himself an average player in the sport. Despite completing his education up to 12th standard, he aspires to secure a government job in the future.
