S Subramanian

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing Team Durai Singam, we have Subramanian. Born on May 24, 2002, in Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, he currently resides in Krishnapuram, Virudhunagar. His father, Samuthrakani, works as a butcher and also as a daily wage worker, while his mother, Poonkodi, is also engaged in daily wage work. Subramanian has a younger brother named Manikandan, who also plays kabaddi at Samy Academy. Subramanian began playing kabaddi at the age of 14 and primarily plays as a Right Raider. His favorite skill on the field is the Hand Touch. He is coached by his cousin brother, Vivek, and practices kabaddi in his village. His favorite kabaddi player is Naveen Kumar, whom he admires for his exceptional touch skills. Subramanian has represented his university in the South Zone Inter-University tournament in 2021. Participating in the Yuva Kabaddi Series is a notable highlight for him. Apart from kabaddi, Subramanian enjoys playing badminton. He is currently pursuing a degree in BA History, currently in his third year. His aspiration for the future is to secure a government job.
