In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing Team Durai Singam, we have Meenakshi Sundaram. Born on September 18, 2001, in Nagarcoil, Tamil Nadu, Meenakshi currently resides in Madurai. His father, Krishnan, passed away in 2002, and his mother, Rani, works as a tailor. Meenakshi has two brothers, Subramani and Nagaraj, neither of whom play kabaddi. Meenakshi started playing kabaddi at the age of 11 and specializes as a Left Cover Defender. His favorite skill on the field is executing the Thigh Hold technique effectively. He receives coaching from Ramesh Kannan and Joshnson Babu, with practice sessions conducted near his home. His favorite kabaddi player is Ponparthiban Subramanian, whom he admires for his defensive skills. Meenakshi appreciates Subramanian's gameplay and wishes to meet him to learn more tips and techniques. Meenakshi has represented in SGFI (School Games Federation of India) and South Zone Inter University tournaments. His favorite skills include Thigh Hold and Chain Tackle. Outside of kabaddi, Meenakshi's favorite sport is Kho Kho. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Agriculture, Meenakshi's career highlights include participating in the South Zone Inter University and YKS 2024 tournaments. His future aspiration is to secure a job, preferably in the army or police force. With his dedication and skills, Meenakshi aims to contribute to the nation's defense and security forces.
