A. Kirubakaran was born on January 10, 2000, in Sathankulam, Tamil Nadu. His father, S. Antony Raj, works as a daily wage laborer, while his mother, A. Selvakani, takes care of their home. He has a younger brother named A. Jebastian Kathirvel, who doesn't play Kabaddi. Kirubakaran's journey in Kabaddi began during his fifth-grade years when he started playing with friends in his area, eventually discovering his talent for the sport. He found his position as a Right Cover Defender, excelling in techniques like the chain block. Under the guidance of his first coach, Ganesan, a police officer in their town, Kirubakaran honed his skills at Anchor Sports Club, Sathankulam, with dedicated practice sessions. Inspired by players like Surjith, who represented India and excelled in chain blocking, Kirubakaran developed his favorite skill, aspiring to match his idol's prowess. His achievements include representing his state in both junior and senior categories and participating in South Zone University games. Outside of Kabaddi, Kirubakaran enjoys watching cricket, with MS Dhoni being his favorite player. Currently pursuing his third year of Bachelor of Arts in History, he aspires to become a Kabaddi coach in the future, aiming to nurture and guide aspiring players to success.
