K Jayaprakash

Jayaprakash K was born on August 11, 2003, in Kondalampatti, Salem, Tamil Nadu. Currently residing in Namakkal, he comes from a family where his father, M Kumar, is involved in the textile industry, while his mother, Sarathi, manages the household. Jayaprakash has one elder brother named Gunasekhar, who used to play kabaddi but no longer does. Jayaprakash began his kabaddi journey at the age of 13, discovering his knack for raiding as a Left Raider. Under the guidance of Coach SoundarRajan at AIKC in Annamalaipatti, Jayaprakash has refined his skills, with a particular talent for the Running Hand Touch. He admires players like Aslam Inamdar for his speediness and Naveen Kumar for his impressive jumping ability, drawing inspiration from their playing styles. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Jayaprakash also enjoys playing cricket and volleyball. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a specialization in Cooperative, he aims to balance his academic pursuits with his sporting ambitions. While Jayaprakash's representation in kabaddi is limited to school state participation, he has shown promise on the field, particularly in a memorable match while representing AIKC. His ultimate aspiration is to join the Tamil Nadu Police, aligning his sporting passion with a desire to serve his community. Jayaprakash's story exemplifies determination and ambition, as he strives to excel in both his sporting and professional endeavors.
