S Dinesh

S Dinesh, born on October 5, 2005, in Dhuttampatti, Salem, resides in the same locality with his family. His father, Selvam, and mother, Kanchana, both work as laborers, ensuring their family's livelihood. Dinesh shares his childhood with an elder brother named Vijay and two elder sisters named Vijaya and Amutha, none of whom share his interest in kabaddi. At the age of 12, Dinesh ventured into kabaddi, taking on the role of a Right Raider. Under the guidance of Coach Elavarasan at Samy Academy and Seven Lions, he has honed his skills, particularly excelling in the art of Hand Touch, admiring players like Naveen Kumar for their exceptional speed. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Dinesh has showcased his prowess in other sports as well. He participated in the District Level Long Jump competition in 2022, securing the 4th position. His passion extends to running and long jump, reflecting his diverse athletic interests. Currently pursuing his first year of BBA CA, Dinesh aspires to represent Team India in kabaddi, driven by his determination and ambition.
