Shubham Chandmare, born on January 1, 2003, in Srirampur, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, is a talented kabaddi player representing the Nanded District team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Srirampur, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, Shubham's journey in kabaddi began during his 11th standard when he started playing kabaddi in school and gradually developed a keen interest in the sport. Coming from a family with a farming background, Shubham is the son of Bharat Ghansham Chandmare, a farmer, and Manda Chandmare, a homemaker. He has three siblings: an elder brother named Shashikant Chandmare and two elder sisters named Sheetal and Divya, none of whom play kabaddi. Previously, Shubham worked in a sports shop before pursuing his passion for kabaddi full-time. As an all-rounder, Shubham excels in both the left cover and left raider positions, demonstrating proficiency in toe touch and thigh hold techniques. Under the guidance of his coaches, Deva Jagtap and Ayup Pathan, at SM Patel Foundation, Shubham continues to hone his skills and improve his gameplay. Shubham draws inspiration from kabaddi player Pankaj Mohite, admiring his natural game and skill on the field. Despite not having any formal representations yet, Shubham has showcased his talent in the KMP Yuva Kabaddi Series. In a memorable match against Satara, playing for Nanded, he scored 6 tackle points and was honored as the best defender, earning the prestigious "Kabaddi Ka Kamaal" moment award. Outside of kabaddi, Shubham enjoys playing cricket at the local level. Currently pursuing his BA degree, Shubham aspires to play for the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), aiming to compete at the highest level and leave a mark in the world of kabaddi.
