Abhishek Sakhre

Abhishek Dipak Sakhare, born on December 25, 2003, in Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, is an emerging kabaddi talent hailing from Nanded District, representing his team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Despite being the son of a teacher, Abhishek's passion for kabaddi shines bright as he embarks on his journey in the sport. Primarily a Left Corner Defender, Abhishek's prowess lies in his impeccable execution of ankle holds, solidifying his position as a formidable force on the defensive front. Under the tutelage of coach Yakub Pathan at S.M Patel, Abhishek hones his skills, drawing inspiration from kabaddi stalwart Mohammadreza Shadulu, particularly admiring his ankle hold and back jump techniques. With a younger brother, Tushar Dipak Sakhare, who shares his enthusiasm for kabaddi, Abhishek finds motivation and support within his family. Despite starting his kabaddi journey relatively late, during his college years at the age of 18, Abhishek exhibits a remarkable dedication to the sport, fueled by his ambition to excel at the highest level. In addition to his kabaddi endeavors, Abhishek maintains a keen interest in football, showcasing his versatility in sporting interests. Pursuing a Diploma in Computer Science, Abhishek aspires to represent the nation on the international kabaddi stage, epitomizing his dream of wearing the Indian jersey and making a mark in the realm of kabaddi. With a steadfast determination and unwavering passion, Abhishek remains poised to carve out a successful career in kabaddi, fueled by his relentless pursuit of excellence and a burning desire to don the national colors.
