Salman Pathan

Salman Rashid Pathan, born on December 17, 2005, in Kamalpur, Maharashtra, is an aspiring kabaddi player representing the Nanded District team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Nanded, Maharashtra, Salman's journey in kabaddi began during his school days at the age of 15. Primarily playing as a Right Corner Defender, Salman specializes in executing ankle holds, demonstrating his defensive prowess and ability to tackle opponents effectively. Under the mentorship of his coach, Sardar Patel, at S.M Club Nanded, Salman hones his skills and refines his techniques on the kabaddi court. Despite not having siblings who play kabaddi, Salman's passion for the sport remains unwavering. He admires kabaddi player Aslam Imandar, particularly appreciating his hand touch and bonus moves on the mat. In addition to kabaddi, Salman also participates in cricket and is pursuing his education in the science stream up to the 12th standard. His career highlights include being recognized as the best defender in a local tournament, where he was awarded a cycle for his exceptional performance.
