Kapil Pandhare

Kapil Dipak Pandhare, born on February 28, 2003, in Jamkhed, Maharashtra, brings a dynamic presence to the kabaddi arena as a versatile player representing Jalna District in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in agriculture, with his father Dipak Pandhare tending to farming duties and his mother Alka Pandhare managing their household, Kapil found his passion for kabaddi during his school days. With a natural inclination towards sports, Kapil began his kabaddi journey at the age of 14, showcasing his prowess as an All-Rounder with proficiency in both offensive and defensive roles. His versatility shines through as he adeptly assumes positions as a Right Raider and Right Corner Defender, demonstrating his adaptability and strategic acumen on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of coach Ambadas Gite at the Jamuvant Krida Mandal, Kapil has honed his skills, with his signature moves including the ankle hold and chain tackle, which often catch opponents off guard. Inspired by kabaddi stalwart Aslam Inamdar, Kapil admires Inamdar's mastery of the bonus skill, which serves as a constant source of motivation and inspiration for him. In addition to kabaddi, Kapil also harbors a passion for cricket, showcasing his love for sports beyond the kabaddi court. Despite his sporting pursuits, Kapil remains committed to his education, pursuing a Diploma in Pharmacy.
