Dipanshu Jagadish Tandel, born on January 28, 2004, in Vasai, Maharashtra, is a promising kabaddi talent hailing from a family deeply involved in the fishing business. Currently residing in Vasai, Maharashtra, Dipanshu draws inspiration from his family, with his father Jagadish Tandel and mother Naina Tandel actively engaged in the fishing trade. Having discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 13 while in school, Dipanshu quickly established himself as a versatile player, excelling in both the roles of a Right Raider and Left Cover Defender. Under the guidance of his father, Dipanshu has honed his skills, particularly his Running Hand Touch technique, which has become his signature move on the kabaddi mat. Dipanshu's favorite player, Navin Kumar, serves as a source of inspiration for him, especially admiring Navin's agility and jumping abilities. Representing his state in the State Championship 2023, Dipanshu has already begun making a mark in the kabaddi circuit. His career highlights include being recognized as the Best Raider in a local tournament, showcasing his talent and potential in the sport. Outside of kabaddi, Dipanshu also enjoys playing cricket and is pursuing his college graduation degree in BA.
