Om Ananda Bhosle, born on June 17, 2001, originates from Satara, Maharashtra, and currently resides in Karad. Coming from a family where his father, Ananda Bhosle, works as a conductor, and his mother, Varsha Ananda Bhosle, takes care of their home, Om is the second child with an elder sister who does not play kabaddi. Om's journey in kabaddi commenced during his college days at the age of 16, where he discovered his knack for the sport. Excelling as a left corner defender, he is known for his proficiency in executing bonus moves. Under the mentorship of Coach Arun Babanrao Mohite at the Ram Krushna Vetal in Karad, Om refines his skills and aspires to emulate his favorite player, Aslam Inamdar, particularly admiring Inamdar's adeptness in bonus moves. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Om has a penchant for cricket and actively participates in various sports. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in History, his career highlight includes a decisive raid in a district-level match, securing the winning point for his team. Looking ahead, Om aspires to join the police force, blending his passion for kabaddi with a commitment to serving his community through law enforcement.
