Prajwal Sandip Zanzane, born on September 14, 2002, in Satara, Maharashtra, is a talented kabaddi player representing the Satara team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Satara, Maharashtra, Prajwal's journey in kabaddi commenced during his early school years in the 4th standard. Prajwal, coming from a farming family with supportive parents, Sandip Shivaji Zanzane and Varsha Sandeep Zanzane, developed a passion for kabaddi at a young age. He honed his skills on a ground near his village home, dedicating himself to the sport and mastering techniques such as ankle holds and back holds, making him a formidable Left Corner Defender on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of his coaches, Hanumant Ghorpade and Pranav Leve, at Shree Shivaji Uday Mandal in Satara, Prajwal refines his skills and tactical understanding of the game. Prajwal draws inspiration from kabaddi player Nitin Madane, whose gameplay he has admired since childhood. Prajwal's achievements in kabaddi include representing his university in the West Zone in 2023 and competing in the KBP University tournament in 2024. Additionally, he has represented his district in 2017. One of his career highlights includes a remarkable performance in a local tournament in 2022, where, despite being a defender, he took on the role of a raider and led his team to victory against the Karad team. Outside of kabaddi, Prajwal has a keen interest in cricket. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in MSC Biotech (1st year) and aspires to excel in both academics and kabaddi.
